Summer Hillas Buck, LMFT
Clinical Supervisor

I am Summer Hillas Buck, a licensed marriage and family therapist with ample experience. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families suffering from a variety of life stressors and symptoms. Throughout my career, I have worked in child welfare/ CPS, school-based services, and traditional outpatient settings as both a clinician and a mental health leader. In addition to all of my therapeutic training, I have knowledge of IEPs, testing for children and adults, crisis response and debriefing, conservatorship, serious mental illnesses, co-occurring diagnoses, and client advocacy.

How I Help
I am a compassionate and enthusiastic therapist, who believes wholeheartedly that everyone is capable of achieving their dreams! With hope, humor, and authenticity, I take pleasure in meeting new clients looking for solutions to many of life’s problems. I know we will be successful in reaching your desired goals. I view you as a collaborative partner who is the expert on his or her own life. I use my diverse therapeutic skill set to create a unique experience for each client. You deserve the very best life has to offer; I would love to be part of your healing journey.

Many people are intimidated by the therapeutic process for a variety of reasons. I will always hold a safe, non-judgmental space for you to be your true self. This is your time to resolve inner conflicts and make your goals a reality. While I am trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed therapy practices, I have a rich, eclectic clinical knowledge base. My promise is to always deeply listen so I can tailor the therapy experience to best suit your needs.

More About Me
I am a true people person! I love to surround myself with friends and family and entertain. My wonderful husband and I enjoy cooking together (for ourselves or others), reading, watching movies, taking walks, and traveling. I love to dance, practice yoga, read novels, visit the ocean or wine country, listen to any kind of music, and try out new keto baking recipes on my loved ones.
