I am Jordan Boehler, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I got my license in Clinical Social Work in 2016. My MSW was from the University of Southern California in 2013. My Bachelor’s degree in Religion with a focus on Buddhism is from George Washington University in 2010. He provides psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and couples.
Areas of Expertise
I am a Certified Rapid Resolution Therapist and a Certified Human-Animal Interventions Specialist.
I specialize in working with individuals who have survived sexual assault, childhood abuse, and post-traumatic stress, as well as couples struggling with communication. I also conduct evaluations and provide letters for Emotional Support Animals and Gender-Affirming Intervention consultations.
My aim in my work with individuals is to resolve and clear shame, guilt, grief, anger, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain at their root cause, not to teach coping skills or give advice.
My aim in working with couples is to provide evidence-based tools and ways of thinking about things within the relationship that have been shown to work when applied effectively, not to point out who is right/wrong or referee arguments.
