Ellen Silka, AMFT

Hello! I am an associate marriage and family therapist and am being supervised by Summer Hillas-Bucks, LMFT, as I work towards my licensure. I received my B.A. in Psychology from University of Richmond in Virginia and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, and relationships.

Therapy is not a one-size fits all approach; that is why I incorporate multiple evidence-based treatment methods for an integrative approach in therapy to create a treatment plan that will best fit you. I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience as you are the expert of your own life and together we can create positive growth. I bring compassion, authenticity, and open-mindedness to create a safe space where you feel heard and understood. By becoming more mindful of your true self, we can learn how emotions, behaviors, and thoughts affect your life. My mission as a therapist is to bring healing and meaningful change to your life.
